Is COVID-19 Changing How We Use Personal Care Products ?

By Alina K. Stanciu M.D.

Watching the news for the past few weeks, sheltered in our homes and socially distanced, we realize that we are facing not just a life crisis but a lifestyle-changing crisis. We hear frightening news about the spread of a highly infectious coronavirus causing severe illness across the world. We face an enemy we can’t see, smell, hear or predict.
We wonder if covering our faces and social distancing are enough to protect us and our loved ones?
With telemedicine, news and social media in full force, we wonder “what can we do next?”

The spread of the virus needs to be stopped. We need to adapt to new norms and learn new skills in order to do so.

Here are my thoughts :
We need to start with the root of the problem with changes in personal care habits that will help eliminate the the spread of disease.

This is what we can do:
We need to wash our hands when it is available for at least 20 seconds with soap and warm water according to CDC guidelines. Practice good hygiene and use alcohol based sanitizers with at least 60% alcohol by volume.

Hand Sanitizers in addition to hand washing

I recommend ViRx M.D., a physician-chemist formulated hand & air sanitizer, to further protect ourselves during this crisis and future threats to our health.

We cannot protect ourselves without protecting our environment as well. The eco-Savy consumer will look for natural products like ViRx M.D. that are becoming an increasingly preferred brand. While ViRx M.D. kills 99.9 percent of germs, it is formulated with natural oils to nourish the natural protective barrier of our skin while remaining non-toxic to our environment. With no residue left behind, you can be back to business as usual in no time. The refillable bottles allow portability, re-cycle and re-use.

Though we must proceed with caution and care, we must pick up the pieces and keeping moving forward. We will emerge stronger and better than before.

Let us help you. Help yourself. Help the planet.

With love,
Alina
